A very balanced beer: fruity and spicy notes perfectly complement the alcoholic ones. They are joined by chocolate and coffee aromas and a remarkable malt character.
The quite noticeable bitterness ideally cushions the distinct sweetness. The beer, which is very characteristic of this category, also has a long-lasting and warming finish.
2022
We are welcomed by a dark walnut coloured beer with a ruby shine. The foam reminds of a coffee cream and reveals an intense flavour of raisins, dried fruits and caramel.
It then transforms in a banquet as a mixture of ripe banana and toffee with a touch of herbs like camomile and fennel.
On the palate we find sweet cherries, raisins, biscuit and caramel before we reach a warming alcohol finish which makes the whole drink a perfect and wonderful example of the style.
